Only a couple of wedding updates since my last post. We have officially decided on ceremony music: cello and violin. Also, my mom picked out her "mother of the bride" dress. Also, we're taking some summer engagement pictures with our photographer on Saturday. yay!

311 days
Well, we have 311 days until the big day.
Here are a few updates to the wedding planning process (boy that's a mouth full!)
-I got my veil from my cousin Beth. I am very excited to wear this family heirloom in the making!
-We asked my cousin Beth's son, Joey, to be our ring bearer.
-We asked my cousin Jenny's daughter, Ava, and Nick's cousin, Korie, to be our flower girls.
-We are taking some summer engagement pictures with Nick's cousin, Kristin, in a couple of weekends! I can't wait!

Lavender Bouquet?
Recently, I have become very interested in wedding bouquets. What do you think of lavender?
I never really knew what lavender flowers looked like until recently. 
The look of the lavender not only matches our color scheme but I think it also adds to our simple and natural feel. 
I recently ordered a small arrangement of lavender just so I could see it in person and boy does it smell great! 
I don't think I will have a bouquet of just lavender, however, I think it HAS to be a part of the bouquet. As an added bonus, the lavender aroma has a calming effect! I think the calming smell of lavender would be welcomed on the big day! :)

Invitations!
We had an opportunity to have our wedding invitations printed for free! We just had to pay for the paper and the envelopes!! We couldn't pass up this money saving opportunity!!
They're beautiful and i think they really reflect our "theme" and style. We actually designed them ourselves- we searched the internet for the design and the fonts. Then our friend Marc, put them together with a special program. They're awesome! Check them out for yourself!!
We also had reception cards (containing info about the reception) and RSVP cards printed but they look very similar with the grass design at the bottom.
We love them! The green! The design! The fonts! They're just lovely!
